Every year, Roger Daltrey persuades some of the biggest names in popular music to play concerts at the Royal Albert Hall to support the work of the Teenage Cancer Trust. Tonight it was Pulp’s turn to grace the venerable old venue in what turned out to be a special gig not just of us, but for them. It was clear from the effort they put into their set list that they were showing reverence both to the amazing venue but also the charity. The effort was worth it. It was a superb evening.
