Another charity night with Public Service Broadcasting. Sadly, I’m not sure how it happened but I was seated upstairs at the Islington Assembly Hall. Not ideal. But it gave me a chance to see their show from a distance. Unfortunately, they also had technical issues which meant their video walls weren’t working for a considerable part of their show. But it didn’t detract too much.
As it was a charity night, the evening had a mixed bill. Haiku Salut, with their full lamp show, were a surprisingly appropriate support. There was also comedy on the bill, with the excellent Ed Byrne and Rob Deering ably comparing.
