I’ve not been to a Hackney Wonderland yet. It always seems too expensive for the number of venues and the ease of moving around. It doesn’t matter how many venues you have if all you can see if the equivalent to an all-dayer in one venue. Case in point, was today’s event. It was a summer taster for the main event. Taking place at the London Fields Brewery across two rooms featuring half a dozen bands. With the walking and queuing to get into the various Hackney venues, I doubt you’d see more bands at the main Wonderland and today was considerably cheaper.
The main reason for me attending was the excellent Bo Ningen were headlining. As always, they were brilliant.
