Courtney Barnett at Rough Trade

I heard some songs by Courtney Barnett and loved them. Then I saw her perform on TV and she didn’t connect. But with her new album coming out, new songs had been on the radio and again, I really liked them. So I thought I’d give her a chance and I’m really glad I did. She’s really good.

Although she was coming off the back of the SXSW and at times her voice was a bit stressed, she put in a great fun performance.
